Undeclared Properties: Vacant Unit Tax Declarations

As of April 30th, approximately 600 residences (6%) in Ward 11 have not had their occupancy status declared for 2024.
If you are one of those residents who have not yet submitted your vacancy declaration, I strongly encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Even if you live in the only residence you own, you still have to complete the declaration for that property or the City will automatically apply the vacant unit tax of 1% of the property value.
Making your declaration is easy:
You'll need your roll number and access code (found on your tax bill or VUT notice)
Choose the method most convenient for you: online, phone, email, mail, or in person
