Truck route monitoring: view the dashboard and report concerns
Residents can view the City of Hamilton’s Truck Route Monitoring Dashboard for information about truck route monitoring across the city.
The dashboard shows how monitoring data and resident reports help inform transportation planning and support enforcement efforts. It is a useful resource for residents with concerns about truck traffic in their neighbourhood.
Report a suspected truck-route violation
The dashboard and reporting tool serve different purposes. To report a suspected violation, use the Truck Violation Reporting Tool or call the Hamilton Police non-emergency line at 905-546-4925.
Hamilton Police is responsible for truck-route enforcement. Trucks may leave a designated route to reach a destination using the shortest permitted route, so a truck on a local road is not automatically in violation.
