The City of Hamilton has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to evaluate options for a new transportation link between Highway 6 South and the Red Hill Business Park, connecting to the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and surrounding employment lands.
The study will look at ways to improve long-term transportation needs in South Hamilton, including goods movement, connectivity, traffic operations, and support for economic growth.
Residents, businesses, landowners, and interested community members are invited to attend the first Public Information Centre to learn more about the study, review the problem/opportunity statement and alternatives, speak with the project team, and provide comments.
