Development Update: Dickenson Sanitary Trunk Sewer

Weekly Update: April 8-14th

Shaft #1    Regional Road 56 and Golf Club Road

-the contractor has stopped tunnelling from Shaft #1 to Shaft #2 and is widening the tunnel for construction purposes.  The work is scheduled to be completed this week, they will then begin to prepare for the resumption of tunneling.   

 Shaft #3      Golf Club Road and Trinity Church Road

-Shaft excavation is ongoing.   

Shaft #4     Dickenson Road and Nebo Road

-Excavation of the rock in shaft is starting Wednesday April 10 for the next few weeks. 

Shaft #5 - Dickenson Road, approximately 385m east of Glover Rd

-contractor is continuing with drilling the secant piles at this location.

Shaft #6    Dickenson Road and Nebo Road

-no work scheduled at this location

Open Cut Sewers – Miles Road to Upper James

-Subcontractor is mobilizing onsite this week.  They will be resuming the sewer construction beginning Thursday April 18, 2024.
