August 25: Elfrida Secondary Plan Public Meeting
Planning Committee will hold a public meeting about the proposed Official Plan Amendment to establish a Secondary Plan for the Elfrida expansion lands in Stoney Creek and Glanbrook, located in Wards 9 and 11.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, at Hamilton City Hall, Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 71 Main Street West. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, allowing residents to attend in person or participate virtually.
Residents may also register to speak, submit a pre-recorded video or provide written comments by noon on August 24, 2026. See below for more information.
Purpose of the meeting
Planning Division staff will present a report providing information about the application, addressing issues raised during the review and making a recommendation on the proposal.
Members of the public may share their thoughts on the application.
Planning Committee will make a decision on the application before it proceeds to Council.
The Planning Division’s staff report will be available on or after August 19, 2026. It can be accessed through the Planning Committee agenda at hamilton.ca/MeetingAgendas.
