Winona Public School – Meeting to discuss it’s future !

For those of you who may not have seen the sign in front of Winona Public School, the property, 255 Winona Road at Highway 8 (NW Corner) was approved by the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board for a 90 day consultation, before it is declared surplus and sold. On June 14, 2011 at 6:30 p.m., a public meeting will be held at Winona Public School to outline the process and allow for public input. The intended purpose of the meeting is to collect feedback on what to do with the land. All are welcome! (This information has been taken from the sign in front of the school and from Trustee Todd White) This is an opportunity to review this sight as a possible Winona Recreation Centre so please consider attending to participate in the School Board Process.
