Ward 11 Police Report: June 2026

Hamilton Police Service has released its monthly report for Ward 11 for June 2026.

Crime indicators

The report recorded 21 Crime Indicator incidents in Ward 11 during June.

The largest categories were:

• Assault: 8 incidents

• Theft from vehicle: 4 incidents

• Auto theft: 3 incidents

• Break and enter: 3 incidents

• Theft over: 3 incidents

The year-to-date total for Crime Indicator incidents was 137.

Property and violent crime

Ward 11 recorded 40 property crime incidents in June, compared with a five-year monthly average of 34.4. The year-to-date property crime total was 239 incidents.

There were 14 violent crime incidents during the month, compared with a five-year monthly average of 10.6. The year-to-date violent crime total was 78 incidents.

No shootings were reported in Ward 11 during June.

Calls for service

Hamilton Police Service recorded 234 calls for service in Ward 11 during June. This was above the five-year monthly average of 177.2.

• Motor vehicle collisions: 27 calls

• Domestic-related calls: 23 calls

• Driving complaints: 20 calls

Collisions

There were 42 collisions reported in Ward 11 during June:

• 38 non-injury collisions
