The Glanbrook Conservation Committee, in partnership with the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, have embarked on an ambitious project of planting nearly 5000 trees and shrubs this year, in naturalizing portions of the Binbrook Conservation Area.
In the past two weekends, with the help of approximately 40 community volunteers, 3000 plants have been put in the ground. This Saturday, June 26th the GCC is hoping to complete the spring planting of the remaining 800 plants and is in need of volunteers, to help complete this. If you would like to help, please contact Brett Harrington, Chairman of the Glanbrook Conservation Committee, at Fogelhund@gmail.com.
