Please be advised that a tentative date has been set for re-painting the north leg of the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway at Stone Church Road. The City’s contractor has advised that they plan to reconfigure the lanes on the off-ramp leading from the RHVP/LINC to Stone Church Road overnight on Thursday, September 29th (Thursday night into Friday morning). This reconfiguration will result in a third lane being added to this leg of the intersection which should help improve traffic flow through the area and reduce the number of complaints we’re receiving.
Please note that this work is subject to the weather and may be delayed due to rain. The contractor has been asked to supply us a “rain date” should this occur. Also note that this work will require the contractor to close off-ramps from the RHVP/LINC to Stone Church Road overnight while they complete this work. Access to Mud Street will be maintained. A public service announcement will go out shortly and warning boards will be installed to inform the public.
