UPDATE: Upcoming Road Closure – Hwy 56

Update

Due to the current wet ground conditions and weather forecast the work scheduled for this weekend has been postponed and rescheduled for March 3rd to 5th.

To enable the installation of a box culvert, Hwy 56 will be closed from March 3rd to 5th to through traffic between Rymal Road East and Golf Club Road. The road closure period is comprised of two distinct time periods as follows:

-The area will be closed on Saturday, March 3rd at 7am and re-opened on Sunday, March 4 at or about 7pm for culvert installation.

-The same area will be closed again on Monday, March 5 from 9am until or about 3pm for road restoration.

A designated detour route will be posted for deviated traffic to utilize Hendershot Road via Golf Club Road and Hwy 20.
