Please note these upcoming public open houses regarding proposed developments in Ward 11.
Binbrook Heritage Development – March 22, 6:30-8:30pm at Michaelle Jean Elementary School (2121 Hwy 56).
The developer is hosting a meeting to consult with residents about the proposed Binbrook Heritage Development. This development includes a mixed -use 10 storey building at 3033, 3047, 3055, and 3063 Binbrook Road.
Silverbirch Meadows – March 27, 6:30-8:30pm at Hamilton District Christian High School (92 Glancaster Road, Ancaster). Another meeting is being hosted by the developer to consult with residents about the proposed development of Silverbirch Meadows. Silverbirch Meadows is an extension of Kellogg Ave through to Silverbirch Blvd. in Mount Hope. This development would include approximately 32 single homes and 53 town homes.
Jackson Heights Development – March 30, 6-8pm at Glanbrook Municipal Service Centre (4280 Binbrook Road, next to the arena). A public open house will be held with planners on hand to discuss the Jackson Heights Development at the lands north of Tanglewood Drive and east of Regional Road 56 in Binbrook.
These are all meetings being held by developers to inform the public on their proposed developments. Councillor Johnson will be in attendance at each of these meetings to listen to the concerns and comments of residents.
