City of Hamilton Traffic Update
The City of Hamilton is advising residents and commuters of temporary road closures scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to allow for site maintenance as part of the Hamilton Phase 1 Flow Monitoring Program. This essential work will involve accessing flow monitoring equipment to ensure continued efficiency in our city’s infrastructure.
Affected Locations & Details:
📍 Site 1: Near Homestead Drive & Strathearne Place
Timeframe: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (work expected to last 1-2 hours)
Work Details: Crews will access manhole GD11A003 to perform maintenance on flow monitoring equipment.
📍 Site 2: Near East Cargo Road & Airport Road West
Timeframe: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (work expected to last 1-2 hours)
Work Details: Crews will access manhole GC10A002 to perform maintenance on flow monitoring equipment.
Traffic Control & Impact:
Traffic control measures (US-7 Modified and TS-18 Modified) will be in place to ensure the safety of workers and commuters.
Minor delays may occur; drivers are advised to plan accordingly.
Alternative routes are recommended for those traveling through affected areas.
