Sports Fields and Ball Diamonds are Open

Please be advised that all natural  Sports fields and Ball Diamonds in the City of Hamilton will be open  for play today Tuesday May 20.   Conditions will not be ideal as we are having a hard time getting equipment out onto the grass fields. You may encounter Parks that have received limited grass cutting because of heavy saturation levels. We ask all user groups to avoid areas were ponding is still visible on the natural fields  The  Artificial Field at Heritage Green will remain open for play.  All  user groups will be notified by Recreation Booking staff. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to be at the mercy of Mother Nature .
