Smile Cookie Campaign Supporting Local Food Programs

On April 27th, Councillor Mark Tadeson joined Councillors Jeff Beattie and Matt Francis in Stoney Creek to help kick off this year’s Smile Cookie campaign.

The visit included a stop at a Tim Hortons location on Centennial Parkway, where they tried their hand at decorating cookies alongside staff and volunteers.

The campaign runs through May 3, with proceeds supporting FoodShare and Food4Kids. Both organizations play a key role in addressing food insecurity and helping ensure children and families have access to nutritious food.

While the cookie decorating may not be a new career path, the initiative highlights the kind of local effort that continues to make a practical difference in the community.
