The property address is 2605 Binbrook Rd East and the proposal is for an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a 3-storey mixed use building.  The proposed development would contain ground floor commercial uses facing both Binbrook Road East and Southbrook Drive, and up to 36 residential units mostly on the upper storeys, with 63 parking spaces.

The Official Plan Amendment is to permit residential units on the interior of the ground floor (facing the parking lot and not the streets).

The application is scheduled for the March 1 Planning Committee meeting which starts at 9:30am at City Hall, 71 Main St W., 2nd Floor with metered parking off of Jackson or Bay St’s.  If you are not supportive of this zoning change request then you must either attend the meeting and voice your objection/concerns or email them Ida Bediou in the Clerks Dept., so that your comments can be recorded and recognized.   Ida’s email address is Ida.Bedioui@hamilton.ca  Also, if you don’t mind, can you please cc me on your comments to Ida.
