3 Remembrance Day Public Services in Ward 11, they are as follows:
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum: Nov 11th – 10:30 am to 12 noon. Our service takes place indoors at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum located at Hamilton Airport. This year’s guest speaker will be Ted Barris. Barris is an accomplished author, journalist and broadcaster. There is limited seating for several hundred with additional standing room. It is best to arrive early to ensure a seat. Parking and admission to the Museum is free but donations to the Museum are greatly appreciated. Weather permitting, the Museum’s Avro Lancaster bomber will do a flypast for the service. The service is being broadcast live by CHCH.
Stoney Creek Cenotaph: Nov 11th – 11:00 am at King Street and Hwy #8. (please arrive at 10:45) For further details call 905-662-4171.
Glanbrook Cenotaph: Nov 11th – 2pm at 4280 Binbrook Road, Binbrook. Refreshments to follow at the 447 Wing, Mount Hope.
