Remembrance Day is a solemn occasion to honour the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who have served - and continue to serve - our country. Ward 11 residents are invited to attend two local services to pay their respects:
Glanbrook Remembrance Service
📅 Sunday, November 9, 2025
📍 Glanbrook Cenotaph – 4300 Binbrook Road, Binbrook
1:30 PM – Wreath participants gather at Glanbrook Arena
2:00 PM – Service begins
Mount Hope Remembrance Service
📅 Tuesday, November 11, 2025
📍 Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum – 9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope
10:30 AM – Service begins
Please arrive early—seating is limited.
Community members are welcome to lay a wreath at either ceremony. No registration is required - simply bring your wreath, and volunteers will be available to assist.
Remembrance Day commemorates the end of the First World War on November 11, 1918, at 11:00 AM. Each year, Canadians pause to reflect on the more than 118,000 lives lost in military service and to honour all who have served our nation with bravery and dedication.
I will be attending both services and encourage all Ward 11 residents to join me in remembrance and reflection.
