Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek – 31st Anniversary

Battlefield House Museum and Park, National Historic Site presents the annual Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek on June 2 and 3, 2012 (details of the two days events listed below). The event was once again declared one of the top 100 events in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario in 2012.

Discover Canadian heritage and bring the whole family and re-live firsthand the thrill and pageantry of the battle that was the turning point of the War of 1812.

Visit the encampment and mingle with early 19th century settlers and soldiers as they go about their daily life. Shop among one-of-a-kind merchants. Witness historical demonstrations of cooking, dancing, blacksmithing and more. Food, games, musical entertainment. Wander through the original 200 year old Gage homestead. Step back in time and take the opportunity to listen to the Indian war hero Tecumseh as he recounts his life.
