Upcoming Improvements: Nebo Road Urbanization and Widening Project
The City of Hamilton is moving forward with the planned reconstruction and urbanization of Nebo Road between Rymal Road East and Twenty Road East. This 1.5 km stretch will be upgraded to improve road safety, enhance accessibility, and support long-term growth in the area.
Key upgrades include:
A new 2-lane industrial standard roadway
A multi-use path (3m) on the east side and a sidewalk (1.5–2m) on the west side
Enhanced bike parking, street lighting, and traffic signals
Replacement of aging storm, sanitary, and water infrastructure
This project supports Hamilton’s Complete Streets and Vision Zero goals by making active transportation safer and more accessible.
