New Canada Flag Banners Installed in Downtown Binbrook

If you’ve driven through downtown Binbrook lately, you may have noticed a burst of patriotic colour lining the street—just in time for Canada Day.

We're excited to share that new Canada flag banners have been installed along the main corridor of Binbrook. This project has been in the works for several months following requests from residents, and we’re thrilled to see it come to life ahead of our national holiday.

“I’m proud to help showcase Binbrook’s community and patriotic spirit,” says Ward 11 Councillor Mark Tadeson. “Residents asked for a visual celebration of Canada Day, and these banners are a beautiful way to reflect our shared pride. I was more than happy to make this happen for residents. ”

While the banners in Binbrook are now flying high, plans are also in motion for a similar project in Mount Hope. Due to some necessary regulatory approvals involving Hydro One, that installation is taking a bit longer - but progress is being made. Stay tuned!
