When a Ward 11 resident raised concerns about pedestrian safety at the intersection of Southbrook Drive and Tanglewood Drive, I made sure City staff took a proper look at it.

They did. And the intersection has met the technical criteria for a pedestrian crossover with flashing beacons.

This project is now included in the 2027 capital budget for design, with implementation to follow through the City's Transportation Engineering group.
