The City of Hamilton has initiated the next phase of a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the proposed extensions of Twenty Road East and the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway. These extensions are part of long-term transportation planning to support future growth and development in the Red Hill Business Park South area.
What’s Proposed
Twenty Road East will extend east from Glover Road.
The Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway will extend south from Rymal Road.
The two roads will meet at a new intersection.
These road extensions are essential to meet future traffic demands and ensure transportation infrastructure keeps pace with planned development.
Project Background
Phases 1 and 2 of the Class EA process were completed through previous transportation master plans. The current work moves into Phases 3 and 4, required for a Schedule C project under the Municipal Class EA framework.
Public Input Opportunity – Virtual PIC #2
Residents and interested stakeholders are invited to participate in the second Public Information Centre (PIC). This is your chance to review and comment on alternative and preferred designs.
