“No Parking from Dec 1st – Mar 31st”, coming to part of Hannon Cres

In accordance with the authority delegated to the Manager of the Hamilton Municipal Parking System by City Council, please be advised that the following changes to parking regulations in your Ward will be presented to City Council on October 26, 2011 in the form of a by-law.

The City has received a petition signed by representatives from 64 of the 84 residential dwellings abutting Hannon Crescent between Dakota Boulevard and Pinehill Drive, requesting that a “No Parking, December 1st to March 31st” regulation be implemented on the south and west sides of the street, in this block. Hannon Crescent is currently unrestricted except a “No Parking” regulation on the inside bend near #98 Hannon Crescent. Of the 64 residents who signed the petition, 62 are in favour, while 2 have no opinion.

Please note that pending Council approval on Oct 26th, 2011, it usually takes 4-6 weeks for signage to go up. The signs will be ordered and locates if needed will be requested.
