The parking lot at the Mount Hope Community Park on Homestead Drive has been begging for some help. Councillor Johnson is pleased to announce that working with staff, she manage located the needed dollars to get that parking lot repaved.
It was planned that the parking lot would be done at the same time as the splash pad, but since the splash pad had to be delayed until spring of 2015, the parking lot just couldn’t wait, it had gotten pretty rough.
This is good news for the Community as now the new parking lot will assist greatly with the upcoming “A Day in the Park”. The community is working together and have created a huge fun day for the area.
