Hamilton Paramedic Service is advancing construction of a new Central Reporting and Response Station at the former Sharples Greenhouse site on Upper James Street in Ward 11.
The station will expand the presence of paramedics in the south Mountain and Glanbrook communities. Hamilton Paramedic Service has advised that the new facility is intended to reduce response times and strengthen coverage across Hamilton.
The modern station will provide purpose-built space for equipment, training, crew wellness and emergency response operations. The project supports the City of Hamilton and Hamilton Paramedic Service’s 2022–2031 Master Plan.
Councillor Tadeson supported this infrastructure through Council. The Paramedic Chief has identified it as an essential investment in emergency care for Ward 11.
