July 2, 2026: Emergency Watermain Break Closes Portion of Miles Road

Hamilton Water is responding to an emergency watermain break near 97 Miles Road.

To allow crews to safely complete repairs, Miles Road is closed between Rymal Road East and 109 Miles Road for the duration of the work.

Properties in the immediate vicinity of the watermain break may experience reduced water pressure or a temporary loss of water service while repairs are underway.

Hamilton Water currently anticipates completing repairs, restoring water service, and fully reopening Miles Road by 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2.

Residents are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
