July 15, 2026: Outdoor Program Changes During Extended Heat Warning

Due to the Extended Heat Warning issued by Hamilton's Medical Officer of Health, temporary changes are being made to certain outdoor programs to help protect the health and safety of participants and staff.

Effective July 15, 2026, and continuing until the Extended Heat Warning has ended:

• Supie programs will end at 1:00 p.m. each day.

• All wading pools are closed.

These temporary measures will remain in place until the Extended Heat Warning is lifted.

Residents are encouraged to plan outdoor activities for cooler parts of the day where possible, stay hydrated, and take appropriate precautions during periods of extreme heat.
