Councillor Johnson is pleased to announce that the construction of Jackson Heights Park is now starting. The following is a letter sent out to all local residents advising of the process and contact numbers.

Re: Construction Notice for Contract PW-11-56 (P) Jackson Heights Park, Park Development (Binbrook) in the City of Hamilton
Dear Sir/Madam:
The City of Hamilton has a contract with Oakridge Landscape Contractors to complete works as called for under contract PW-11-56 (P). Construction is scheduled to commence on or about Monday, October 17, 2011 and be substantially completed by the end of April 2012.
The work involves the installation of a sun shelter, playground equipment, a multi-use court and sodding through-out the park. During this time you may experience some inconveniences such as noise, dust, and restricted pedestrian and vehicular traffic movement.
Please note that full use of the park will commence at the end of APRIL 2012.
Every effort will be made to do the work in a timely manner and to keep any inconvenience to a minimum. We ask for your patience during this period. For the duration of the project, the City of Hamilton on-site inspector will be made available to explain the sequence of work and make note of any anticipated problems during construction.
