Holiday Train & Christmas Tree of Hope

Save the Date for the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in support of Hamilton Food Share

Date:  Monday, November 30, 2015

Time:  7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Location:  Gage Park at Lawrence Rd

The CP Holiday Train is making a stop in Hamilton offering free concerts and seasonal festivities from a boxcar turned into a travelling stage. The entertainers on this year’s Holiday Train are Canadian country music artists Kira Isabella and Wes Mack. The concert is free, and attendees are encouraged to make a cash or non-perishable food donation to Hamilton Food Share which will be on site at the event. The 2015 Holiday Train schedule will be announced mid-to-late October, but the train is expected to arrive in Hamilton at approximately 7:45 PM on Monday November 30th, with a performance beginning at 8:00 PM.

Save the Date for the Christmas Tree of Hope Tree Lighting Ceremony

Date:  Friday, December 04, 2015

Time:  5:00 PM to 8:30 PM; Tree will be lit at 6:00 PM

Location:  Gore Park

What better way to celebrate the holiday spirit than with the lighting of the CHML Christmas Tree of Hope?  This festive event, much enjoyed by Hamiltonians young and old is presented in partnership with the Downtown BIA and AM 900 CHML and will bring together people from all parts of our community for the lighting of the tree, a free musical performance, amusement rides, and general holiday cheer. Unwrapped toys and donations welcome for the CHML/Y108 Children’s Fund Toy Drive.
