I encourage residents to take a few minutes to complete this survey. We haven’t had this kind of input in over a decade, and strong participation helps ensure Binbrook is part of the conversation moving forward, making sure BINBROOK has a say what happens in Binbrook.

It’s been over 10 years since the City last gathered community input on transit in Binbrook. This new survey is an important opportunity for residents to share their views and help inform future planning.

Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) is asking for feedback to better understand local interest in transit service. Your input will help shape long-term planning work - so it’s important that Binbrook residents take part.

Why This Matters

Right now, Binbrook does not have HSR transit service, and there are no approved plans to extend service into the community as part of the current HSR Next rollout.

That makes this survey especially important.

Clear, local data helps City staff and HSR understand:

• whether there is interest in transit service

• what types of service residents would find useful

• how transit could support daily needs like work, school, and shopping

The more feedback received, the better the City can assess future options through its planning and budget process.

Current Transit Situation

• No HSR service currently operates within Binbrook

• No on-demand or fixed-route service is planned at this time

• Nearby routes in surrounding areas provide limited access to the broader network

About HSR Next

HSR Next is a city-wide transit plan focused on improving service frequency and connections across Hamilton. Implementation is expected to begin in 2027, subject to Council approval through the budget process.
