As directed by Council at the December 8, 2020 Planning Committee meeting, (Report PED20173) staff have begun public engagement to receive input on the draft Urban Forest Strategy.
The draft Urban Forest Strategy reports are available now at the project web page https://www.hamilton.ca/city-initiatives/strategies-actions/urban-forest-strategy and the Engage Hamilton web site https://engage.hamilton.ca/urban-forest-strategy
On Engage Hamilton, there are a variety of ways for residents, stakeholders, and staff to provide input on the draft reports, including: – A Virtual Public Meeting on February 9; – An online poll and survey; and, – By submitting questions or comments using the contact information provided.
The engagement period will run until February 26
