UPDATE: ROAD REOPENED as of 6pm on August 30, 2024.
Please be advised that the City of Hamilton will be replacing a culvert located on Regional Rd 56 between Hall Rd and Haldibrook Road, starting on July 8th. The work is expected to take 6 to 8 weeks. In order to complete this work, a full closure of Hwy 56 is required between 6175 Hwy 56 and 6355 Hwy 56, as shown on the attached map. The red dot indicates where the culvert is being replaced, and where the hard closure will be located. No through traffic will be permitted.
DETOUR ROUTE:
During this period, access to the residents located on Hwy 56 between Hall Rd and Haldibrook Rd will only be possible from one direction, as described below:
