Free City Compost for 2014

As in the past, compost will be available for free at six weekend events held at Public Works yards across the city. These events run on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. while quantities last. 

Sat., Apr 26/14 – 501 Shaver Rd., Ancaster

Sat., Apr 26/14 – 161 Studholme Rd., Hamilton

Sat., May 3/14 – 308 Rymal Rd E., Hamilton

Sat., May 3/14 – 330 Wentworth St., Hamilton

Sat., May 10/14 – 1301 Upper Ottawa St., Hamilton

Sat., May 10/14 – 349 Jones Rd., Stoney Creek

The Upper Ottawa location also has compost available from April 28 to May 9 (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm) while quantities last.

Shovels and pails will not be provided.  This compost is NOT for commercial use.
