The Glanbrook Food Bank provides Christmas hampers for approximately 30 families in our community. This year we are having a “Family Fun Day” where you can teach your children about helping those who are less fortunate; in a fun way. You will be making cards and baking cookies for the hampers. We will also be wrapping the hampers. The children that are involved will get to make a craft of their choice. The items that go into the Christmas hampers are: Turkey (12-15 lbs), Can of Turkey Gravy, Can of Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing mix, 10lb bag of potatoes, bag of carrots, can of peas, can of corn, bag of apples, jar of instant coffee, box of tea bags, can of juice, 2kg bag of sugar, bag of candy, can of fruit, cookies, 4 pack of toilet paper, $50. grocery gift card and a gift card for each child under 18.
