A private well survey will be taken along Dickenson Road East as part of environmental and engineering studies being carried out in advance of construction on the Dickenson Road Sanitary Trunk Sewer from Upper James to Highway 56. The City of Hamilton has retained Cole Engineering Group to conduct the survey.
Field technicians will be conducting a door to door private well survey beginning on July 23, 2020 between the hours of 8am & 8pm. The purpose of the survey is to assess general groundwater resources and usage in your area, and to establish baseline conditions of private wells.
COLE Engineering will also be completing private well water quality monitoring that will include pre-construction groundwater level assessment and overall well quality assessment.
Participation in the survey is encouraged, but entirely voluntary.
