Sponsored through the Canadian Revenue Agency, the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) arranges for community organizations to host free tax preparation clinics and organizes volunteers to prepare income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals who have a modest income and a simple tax situation.
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program Representative for Binbrook and Upper Stoney Creek is Russell Gurman . Russ does not hold clinics rather will provide assistance in preparing individual client’s tax returns.
Individuals with income of $30,000 or less and Couples with income $40,000 or less qualify for the free assistance with their Tax Returns.
