The City of Hamilton has officially launched a new campaign to tackle illegal graffiti—part of its ongoing work to improve community safety, beautification, and well-being.

This initiative supports the City's Clean & Green Strategy and 10-year Downtown Revitalization Strategy and aims to reduce vandalism, clean up public and private property faster, and empower residents to get involved.

🧹 Why It Matters:

Illegal graffiti can impact how our neighbourhoods feel, affect property values, and pull funding away from other key services like roads, parks, and infrastructure. Rapid removal is one of the most effective ways to prevent more tagging.

📣 What You Can Do:

📌 Report existing graffiti:

📞 905-546-CITY (2489)

🚨 See graffiti in progress?

Call 911 – never approach someone in the act.

📭 Want to stay anonymous?

Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477

Let’s take pride in our public spaces—report graffiti, and help keep Ward 11 clean and welcoming for everyone.
