Bridge Rehabilitation Notice – Regional Road 56 Posted: April 10, 2025

The City of Hamilton is continuing important rehabilitation work on two local bridges along Regional Road 56, just north of Guyatt Road and south of Golf Club Road. Phase 2 construction is scheduled to begin on or about April 14, 2025, with an expected completion by July 2025 (weather permitting).
✅ What’s Being Done:
Bridge 126: Resurfacing the roadway, replacing bearings, and completing essential structural repairs to enhance long-term safety.
Bridge 464: Culvert rehabilitation, concrete repairs, crack injections, and installation of erosion protection to preserve infrastructure and prevent future issues.

What Residents Can Expect:
Single-lane traffic during construction at Bridge 126, managed by temporary traffic signals.
Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Some noise, dust, and minor traffic delays may occur, but we are committed to keeping disruptions to a minimum.
