We are in the final stages of the Binbrook Transit Survey so it you haven’t completed the survey yet, please call the office at 905-546-4513 and if you get voice mail, just let us know what is the best time to reach you by phone.
This survey will determine whether or not the Transcab service remains in the Village of Binbrook.
What you need to know!
If the majority of residents want to keep the Transcab service, there will be a cost added to your property taxes for this service of approximately $10 – $22 per month based on the assessed value of your home.
If the majority of residents do not want to keep the Transcab service, then it will be cancelled and there will be no impact on your property taxes.
Please note, the Transcab service only applies to the Urban Village of Binbrook. If you live in the rural area of Binbrook the service does not apply and your taxes will not be affected, you will continue to be area rated for not having transit service.
If you have not taken the transit survey, please give us a call at 905-546-4513 and we can do it over the phone. If you get voice mail, leave us a number and the best time to call and we’ll contact you as quickly as possible. Or you can email the office with your phone number and the best time to contact you by phone.
The survey is not available electronically, it can only be done in person or by phone. It takes only a couple of minutes to do this survey.
