Binbrook Road Townhouse Development—Public Consultation

A developer-led Public Information Centre was held January 14, 2026, for the proposed townhouse development at 2640-2654 Binbrook Road.

Mark strongly requested that this consultation happen to ensure residents have meaningful input beyond minimum regulatory requirements. Development should serve community needs, not just developer interests.

• Parking adequacy:  Will the development provide sufficient parking for residents and visitors?

• Tree preservation:  What happens to existing trees on the site?

• Commercial viability:  How does this fit with surrounding land uses?

• Residential impact:  Traffic, density, and neighbourhood character effects.

Next Steps

The development application will proceed through the City's formal review process, incorporating feedback from the public meeting. Mark's office will continue monitoring the application and providing updates as the project progresses.
