Binbrook Road Intersection Environmental Assessment — Public Information Centre #2

- 2 min read

The City of Hamilton is conducting an Environmental Assessment (EA) for improvements to the intersection of Binbrook Road, Trinity Church Road, and White Church Road - and the second Public Information Centre is coming up.
What the EA Is About
This EA is examining how to improve a busy and increasingly complex intersection in the heart of Binbrook. The study is evaluating a range of design alternatives, including possible roundabout configurations, to determine the best long-term solution for safety, traffic flow, and community needs.
This is a formal planning process. The decisions made through this EA will shape how this intersection functions for residents, businesses, and visitors for years to come.
What's Happening at PIC #2
The second Public Information Centre will present the design alternatives that have been evaluated through the study, the assessment process and methodology, and the preliminary preferred design - including any roundabout options under consideration.
This is your opportunity to ask questions directly of the project team and provide feedback before decisions are finalized. If you missed PIC #1, a recording is available through the project webpage.

Why Your Input Matters
An intersection EA is not a minor administrative exercise. The preferred design that emerges from this process will determine road geometry, traffic patterns, pedestrian access, and the character of one of Binbrook's most-used intersections. Residents who use this intersection daily should have a say in what it becomes.
I encourage Ward 11 residents to attend, review the materials, and make their voices heard before the preferred design is finalized.
