On April 1, Canada Post was informed that an employee at the Binbrook Post Office had been identified as positive for COVID-19. This employee had not been at work since Thursday, March 26.
All other employees were notified, sent home and placed into self quarantine while a deep clean and sanitization of the post office was done.
During this time mail delivery in the local area was delayed. We have just received confirmation that as of this past Saturday, April 11 mail operations have resumed and the post office has re-opened.
