Join Us for the 45th Annual Community Safety Night – A Family Event Focused on Fun and Safety!


The 45th Annual Community Safety Night is coming to the Binbrook Fairgrounds on Tuesday, July 9, 2025, from 6:30–9:00 PM, and you’re invited!


Hosted by Hamilton-Wentworth 4-H and supported by incredible community partners including the Binbrook Agricultural Society and Hamilton Police, this evening is all about empowering residents with safety knowledge while enjoying a relaxed, family-friendly environment. And yes—it’s FREE to attend, with free safety swag for attendees!


This year’s event is packed with engaging and interactive experiences:


  • 🚒 Tour a fire truck and explore the Smoke House trailer

  • 🧯 Create a home fire safety plan with expert guidance

  • 🦺 Personal protective equipment demos 

  • 🚲 Bike safety checks and obstacle courses (bring your wheels!)

  • 🧠 Helmet safety education

  • 🚜 Learn about road safety, heavy equipment, tick awareness and more

  • 💦 Summer water safety tips to keep your family safe by the pool or lake

  • ❤️ First aid demonstrations and War Amps PlaySafe resources

  • 🚗 DriveWise immersive driving simulator – experience the importance of focused driving in a safe, virtual environment


And, of course, bring your appetite—BBQ and refreshments will be available, so you can fuel up while exploring all the fun. (while supplies last!)
