Join us at the launch of the 2016 Winterfest program. Our 2016 Kick-Off event features family-friendly craft and heritage activities, live music and performances, film screenings, outdoor art, tasty treats and skating – all at Pier 8 on Hamilton’s beautiful waterfront.
Entering its 38th year, Winterfest is a celebration of Hamilton, community and togetherness during the Winter season. The 2016 event program includes neighbourhood winter gatherings, winter-inspired art exhibits, heritage, culinary and recreation programming happening in neighbourhoods across the city. Hamilton residents will be inspired to come out of hibernation to connect with each other and explore the city for ten fun-filled days from February 6 to 15.
This year Winterfest has more participating partners than ever including neighbourhood associations, galleries, museums, recreation venues, and small businesses.
