On Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:15pm Councillor Brenda Johnson will be hosting an Open House for residents to drop in and view/comment on the new Park Plans.
The Park will see a Splash Pad, new Playground Equipment and a Gazebo for next year and then following years will see the softball diamond redone with walking trails around the parameter with fitness stops and park benches. The old Scout Hut & Cadet building will be removed and a new building to house both groups along with a new Gym for Rec Programs will be added. A new outdoor Multi Court Sport Pad and a new Tennis Court are included as well.
The entire park will be graded and landscaped and look amazing, but your thoughts and comments are appreciated so that we can make it perfect.
