Lyme Disease & Tick Prevention

Everyone should be watchful as migratory birds can move black-legged ticks across the province.  Help yourself by covering up when possible, use bug repellent, and check your body for ticks after being outside as ticks must on the body for over 24 hours in order to transmit the bacteria that causes Lyme disease.
