On Thursday, November 10, 2011, 7:00pm at the Glanbrook Municipal Building, 4280 Binbrook Rd, next to the Arena we will be talking about Public Transit in Glanbrook.
Currently there is Transit Service in Mount Hope and in the Glanbrook Industrial Park and it is in the form of Trans Cab. Staff will be on hand to explain how trans cab works and the benefits of the step down style of service. Rymal Road residents now have full bus service that runs from the Ancaster Business park, along Rymal to Elfrida and then down Upper Centennial Parkway to Eastgate Square and back again.
A number of Binbrook residents have been asking about possible service for the Village of Binbrook and staff will give an overview of what is required in order to bring service to the Village in the future. Please keep in mind, that the majority of Glanbrook does not have transit service and that includes the Village of Binbrook, so accordingly you are area rated for it. That means you are not paying for Transit service in your property taxes because you are not receiving it.
