If you are interested in some old time fun with great atmosphere, try attending one of many upcoming craft sessions at the Erland Lee Museum, 552 Ridge Rd., Stoney Creek. On November 17, 2012, from 9:30am till noon, there will be a floral design class at a cost of $25.00. On November 24, 2012, from 9:30am till noon, will be a Beeswax Candle making class at a cost of $10.00. The Lee is looking at bringing the community to the Lee with the benefit of learning good old fashions crafts. Some ideas for 2013 include, but are not limited to; rug braiding/hooking, crochet, candlewicking and embroidery. The Lee is also looking at holding some summer programs for the kids that would involve some heritage acitvities. Guest lectures in the evenings are also being considered. This is a great opportunity to get involved and learn about our past. If you are interested in participating in any of these events, please contact Barbara Stones at 905-563-7274 or email rstones@becon.org
