The City is holding a Public Information Centre regarding transportation at the Red Hill (Glanbrook) Industrial/Business Park.
This meeting is an update for the road network within the Red Hill Business Park focusing on Twenty Road, Trinity Church Road and Glover Road. The meeting will be held at the Hamilton Church of God, 1338 Stoney Church Road East. I encourage everyone who lives in the immediate area to come to the meeting.
Starting shortly, two students will be working their way through the Village of Binbrook doing a short transit survey. The purpose of the survey is to determine whether there is enough support within the Village of Binbrook to provide some type of transit service for the Village. There will also be a question about recreation programs that could be coming to the Community as well. Please take a few minutes of your time and do the survey with the student who comes to your door. The students will be wearing City of Hamilton Transit shirts and will have photo ID as well.
If you need to renew your dog license or get a new license, drop by the Glanbrook Municipal Office, 4280 Binbrook Road and they’ll issue you one and also give you free scented poop & scoop bags with a lime green carrying container while supplies last. If it’s not time to renew and you’d like one, it can also be purchased as well as refills.
School is almost complete for another year and students will be out and about over the summer months, please remember to drive safely and have an eye out for children playing or riding their bikes. The City has a number of summer programs that you can take advantage of and they are listed on the city web page or you can pickup a copy of the Summer Recreation Guide which is at the Municipal Service Centre or your local library.
