Councillor Johnson will be at her Booth in the Commercial Section on Saturday from 10am to 6pm, please drop by.
Friday starts with the Midway opening at 5pm followed by the Parade at 7pm and the Official Opening at 7:45pm. All Exhibition Halls are open during this time and at 8pm, Canada’s #1 Demolition Derby starts.
Saturday brings more fun with a Goat Show, Minature Horse Show, Horn Husking Competition, Reptile Show and The Ben Show. The Binbrook Women’s Institute Roast Beef Lunch is at Memorial Hall from 12-1:30. The afternoon brings Sunflower the Clown, Pet Show, Guernsey Show, Milking Demo, a Karate Demonstration and Childrens Games in Building 4 at 2pm. The “Binbrook Idol” contest is from 2-4pm, drop by the Old MacDonald’s Farm for a MIlking Demo and the Women’s Institute off a Roast Beef Dinner from 4:30 – 6pm in Memorial Hall. The evening brings the Kelleys on Main Stage at 5:30 and the Demo at 7:30 pm.
Sunday is Family Day and that brings the Community Church Service & Pancake Breakfast starting at 10am till 12noon. Campbell’s Amusements offers a “Bracelet Special” Ride all you can from 11am until closing for $18.00. There is also Line Classes for Heavy Horses, 4-H Inter County Beef Calf Club Show, Reptile Show, Corn Husking Competition, Sunflower the Clown, The Ben Show, the Annual Baby Show, Beef Catttle & Sheep Show, Horse Pulls, Sheep Shearing, more Children’s Games and the Quilt Draw at 4pm just before things start winding down with the Exhibition Halls closing at 5:30.
On Thursday Sept 13th is Community Appreciation Night and the Midway is open from 4pm – 9pm and all rides are $2.00.
Admission is $8.00 for an adult and children 12 yrs and under are free. If you want an “all weekend admission” bracelet, they can be purchased in advance from the fair office before Sept 10th (905-692-4003) for $16.00. Parking on Grounds is FREE
